ELIGIBILITY | HUD Facts |
CLRC (Christian Life Retirement Center) is operated under the HUD Section 8, 202 Program and is specifically designed with seniors in mind who are able to live with or without supportive services. Under this program, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has limited admission to our facilities to households where the head or spouse is age 62 and older; or our Mulford Road location also accepts those who are in need of the accessibility features of a unit adapted for a wheelchair. In addition, you must be in the "very low" annual income group, defined by HUD below. Your income includes Social Security, Pensions, Annuities, etc., income from Employment, Rental Income and any interest you collect on assets. Your rent is calculated at 30% of your adjusted income. |
